For easy, real-time feedback, we’ve integrated two RGB LEDs that communicate the device's status to the user.
Colour | Rate | Indication |
Green | Blink fast | Initialization. |
Green | Blink slow | Idle / Ready. |
Blue | Solid | Boot / Bootloader (Firmware app. not started yet). |
Blue | Blink fast | Script running. |
Yellow | Blink fast | Manual reboot requested (not an error). |
Orange | Blink fast | Error: system caught a non-fatal error, back to idle in a few seconds. |
Red | Blink fast | Fatal error: firmware error/crash (reboot necessary). |
White | Blink slow | Update ongoing. |
GREEN: Initialization / Idle / Ready
The LED will light up in green and start flashing at a faster rhythm, this is the default idle/ready status which means that the One is ready to connect to the User’s Smartphone.
While the connection is established the One will switch to blue and start flashing at a faster rhythm, once the connection is established, the One will switch back to the default idle/ready status and start flashing at a slower rhythm in green.
BLUE: Action in progress / Script running
The LED will light up in blue and start flashing at a faster rhythm while in progress of an action:
Connection to the smartphone of the user
Read the file of the car
Write the new file on the car
Yellow: Action required by user
The LED will light up in yellow and start flashing at a faster rhythm.
The action required by the user is to exit the app completely and unplug the One from their car.
Wait a couple of minutes and restart the launch from the beginning. Launch the app, plug in the One and connect to the One with the MyFlasher App.
Orange: Minor error detected: No action required
The LED will light up in orange and start flashing at a faster rhythm. The One will switch back to the default idle/ready status and start flashing at a slower rhythm in green by itself.
RED: Error
The LED will light up in red and start flashing at a faster rhythm to signal a problem is detected during the action that has been launched. This can happen at multiple stages here are some examples:
During the connection process between smartphone & One
If the bluetooth/wifi connection is lost or interrupted between smartphone & One
During the reading process
During the writing process
In the case of an interruption during the process of reading/writing to protect the ECU of the User’s car. The One will switch back to its default idle/ready status and the User should communicate with the Tuner what happened, the information of why this happened will then be found in the logs that the Tuner can access.
WHITE: Update ongoing
The LED will light up in white and start flashing at a slower rhythm.
As we are continuously improving the software of the One to improve the User experience. The User is able to update the One via the MyFlasher App, if a newer version of the software is available a notification will appear via the App while the user is connected and once the Update is initiated the LED will light up in white and start flashing at a faster rhythm. Once the Update is concluded the One will switch back to its default idle/ready status.
